I am an experienced maritime engineer (Class 2 - Unlimited) working in offshore segment of shipping since 2007. I have a diesel-electric, DP-1 and DP-2 experience and I sailed on Platform Supply, Pipe Lay / ROV vessels and Semi-Submersible Heavy Lifts. I have an experience in:
- Slow / medium / high speed diesel engines manufactured by: MAN, Wartsila, B&W, Sulzer, Mak, CAT, Detroit, Cummins, GM;
- Electronically controlled engines: CAT 3512C, CAT C32,MAK M20 and Cummins;
- DP systems: Kongsberg K-POS 22 and SDP21, L3 NMS6000, MT Bridge Mate in a DP2 installation;
- Z-drive azimuth thrusters manufactured by: Schottel and Rolls Royce;
- Tunnel thrusters: Schottel, Rolls-Royce, Brunvoll;
- Integrated alarm systems: Kongsberg K-Chief, STX AYAS, Valmarine;
- Diesel electric and conventional propulsion variations;
- High pressure hydraulic systems;
- 6,8,10-point mooring equipment;

I am well familiar with computerized maintenance management systems (AMOS, Star, TM-Master, Ship Manager 6 & 7 (web-based), Vertex SMMS) compilation of vessel's equipment specifications and spares/stores lists, etc...
My objective is to obtain a permanent position in a company, specialized in an OIL & GAS industry, where I could maximize my technical and safety management skills, serving the company with my professional knowledge, respecting and following the company's policies and regulations.
An overall responsibility for the Marine Section directly to the OIM. Assisting the OIM in all marine matters related to the operation of the unit including, but not limited, to: anchor handling; lifting operations; deck equipment including winches, cranes, high pressure hydraulic power units, etc..., radio and rescue equipment; stability; maintenance of hull, superstructure and marine equipment; stability; tanks and confined spaces; logbooks and operational compliance; training of marine personnel; certain emergency response roles, etc…
